[ It's somewhat late at night, and Rin is apparently out in the gardens, sitting under a tree and watching the sky ]

Rin's a bit lonely, with Miss Aqua gone. Mm, and it's hard to look for food here, when Rin doesn't know where she's allowed to take food from? Rin's just wondering... is there anyone who can show Rin what she's allowed to take?

[ Guess who is actually sleeping in the gardens about half the time, and ... probably pinching food wherever she can get it. What is money, she's never had it and has no idea how to manage it. ]

[ She bounces excitedly and dashes out, knocking politely when she arrives ]

[In the time it takes for her to arrive, he's coaxed Q-lulu off his bed and into the living room, and whips up a simple snack of whatever meat and cheese the replicator gives him.

[A curious mercat will be waiting near the door.]

She moves slowly, not wanting to spook Q-lulu, offering her hand to sniff ]

[Q-lulu gives a little sniff before wiggling closer to butt the little hand with her head.]

[Not that he had any doubt. He sets the snacks on the coffee table and perches on the couch so as not to interfere.]

[ Rin giggles and pets gently ]

She's sooooooo pretty! Hello Q-lulu! Nice to meet you.

[The mercat seems perfectly happy with the petting and compliments. Prompto gives them another minute or so before approaching.]

You might be her new best friend. Wanna feed her a treat?

[He holds out his hand, offering a few little balls of something vaguely cracker-ish.]

[ She smiles up and accepts one of the balls, annd offers it. ]

Here, Q-lulu. Snack!

[He laughs as Q-lulu gobbles up the treat and starts nudging for more.]

Would you like a snack too, Rin? I got some crackers and cheese. You can sit with Q-lulu on the couch.

Yes please!

[ She beams back, carefully stroking Q-lulu ]

Will you have some too, Mister Prompto?

Yep.

[He picks Q-lulu up and waits until Rin is situated on the couch before plopping the mercat on her lap and handing over a small plate of food.]

Careful not to give her any cheese. It makes her tummy hurt.

Okay!

[ She pops one of the cheese bits into her mouth, and then offers Q-lulu a cracker ]
