[Good day to you, Havenwell. It's time for another round of Magolor blowing up your tablets with his energetic presence. Did you miss him? He's as peppy today as ever:]

Hello everyone! It's me, your friend Magolor. Just so you know, I'm making progress on getting some time in the archives and compiling everything we need to pass along to our generous hosts. I'll definitely update everyone once I'm through all that! ♥

But in the meantime, there is another side of things here in our little community. One of the things I realized while talking to all of you last month is that we've all got our own unique skills to offer one another too. Things the natives will never be able to provide us as well as we can provide to one another! But it's impossible to keep track of who's offering what without some kind of resource available about it, so that's why I'm sending all of you this document to share!

No pressure or anything, of course. But if you're looking to make some connections and get your talents out there, you'd be doing yourself and everyone else a big favor by filling it out! ♥

(( This spreadsheet is an IC resource to be filled out ICly by each character! So feel free to contribute to it straightforwardly, sarcastically, or not at all, as your character would prefer. Nothing is stopping anyone from putting in anything they want, including characters filling it out for other characters—but ofc clear it with the other player first if you go that route! ))

Hey now, we're on a planet where it just so happens you can do both at once! Isn't that convenient?

That's one word for it, yeah...

Just don't expect immediate rewards or anything, okay?

Oh no, I'd never. I know pies take at least half an hour to bake.

[He actually just pulled that number out of nowhere as a guess. Magolor may be talented in a great many things, but he is a terrible cook, or else this post may never have happened. One thing leads to another!]

Over an hour, depending on the oven.

[Nita rolls her eyes.]

Though do the people here even use ovens anymore? The ones I've seen so far needed some serious upkeep.

[Mostly to keep from overburning things.]

The natives? I doubt it. They've evolved beyond the need for such worldly mysteries! At least when it comes to food. I don't know if they've evolved beyond the need for forges and kilns too. Do they 3-D print their own body parts? . . . But that's a tangent. It has a lot less to do with me than the pie does.

I haven't seen much of that used publicly; they might have it locked away in the labs...

[And people have to work up the social ladder to get to see inside those; it's on Nita's list.

As to that last part, she almost-laughs.]

Is there anything that has more to do with you than pie? Right now, I mean?

Ahhh, you're making fun of me! I've worked so hard on this, you know? It's not just about pie at all! But I admit it . . . even my workaholic self always has an extra space for dessert. Who doesn't?

[Nita laughs.]

Yeah, fair. A community resource is a community resource!

And it'd be hard to find someone brought here who doesn't like dessert. Or smoothies!

[begguiling]

Smoothies, huh? Is that in demand, or is that your own stomach speaking for you this time?

[unfavorableinstigation]

[Nita shakes her head.]

Just a party I went to recently. You know Aera?

[begguiling]

I do! She's apparently a goldsmith!

[According to this file now, anyway!]

She hosted a party with smoothies, huh?

[unfavorableinstigation]

[Nita checks.]

Huh. That is neat.

[But how useful would it be? Depended on if the natives wanted to tap in to that sort of skill, perhaps.]

And yeah; she wanted to experiment with flavors and throw a party on behalf of someone she knew, have a whole get-together.

[begguiling]

I can't believe I wasn't invited . . . I know we aren't close, but I just want to support everyone's efforts, you know? No, it's okay, I'm sure it was for her closest friends . . .

[The TINIEST SAD SIGH.]

That's understandable! I'm over it.

[Nita's pretty sure he's exaggerating, but she just sighs, and says;]

I'm pretty sure it was coincidence, actually; if you'd brushed past her in the street she'd have passed you an invite.

She did that for me, anyway. And a bunch of other people, unless they all knew her already.

[Aera's house had gotten full.]

Well now I feel even worse about it!

[This one is true, if still very exaggerated; there is something just a tiny bit more earnestly annoyed in his expression. He really had not remotely cared about not being invited to this party before, but now it's hard not to be the tiniest bit jealous that he missed it by chance when everyone else went! Geez!]

[And Nita's own face falls, just a little.]

Aw, I'm sorry, Magolor.

... What if we met up somewhere and made our own smoothies, then?

[She's slightly more serious about this than she is about the pies.]
