Hey everyone! I realized the other day that this is the first time I've ever lived on my own. It was kind of fun at first, but now that the novelty has worn off, it's actually pretty boring. So I was wondering if anyone wanted to be roommates?

I'm sure a lot of you are thinking "but I've already settled in to the place I found", but I have a list of qualifications that might change your mind.

[He holds up a fingers for each point he makes.]

Firstly, I will never eat your food. Because I literally can't. Second, I won't hog the bathroom. I'm not even sure what it's used for, but I've heard you organics value your time in there.

If just that isn't enough to change your mind, I can also reach high places because I'm very tall. Fourth, I can turn into a car. If you ever need something, I can go get it way faster than you could by just walking. And fifth, I love movies, so we could have lots of movie nights! If... they have movies here. I haven't actually checked come to think of it...

[He pauses for a moment.]

I probably should have started with this but my name's Tailgate, by the way. I don't mind moving in somewhere, but if you want to move in where I'm living now, we, uh, might need new furniture.

[It's not his fault that the sofa and chairs in the living area were not made for the weight of a Cybertronian.]

[Somehow, Magolor has thus far missed Tailgate around, which seems like a real feat considering what he's seeing on the camera right now. Seriously. After dallying about it for a while, in the end he can't help but look into this. Not for a roommate, but because he's very very curious.]

Oh man, movies are great! It's like... they take a story like a book has, and then film people acting out the story. So instead of reading, you can just watch it whenever you want. If they have movies here, I'll take you to one so you can see what they are.

[Sorry Reyson, even if you don't want to live together, not having seen a movie before is a crime that Tailgate cannot let continue.]

Nope! Cybertronians like myself are 100% mechanical, sentient lifeforms. What about you? Most of the organics here look like humans, but I've never seen anyone like you before.

Phew, that's good.

Yeah, there's sound, voices, and it's all moving pictures. They try to make it look as much like real life as possible. And there's all different kinds - action, romance, comedy, even just movies to learn about new things. So there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Hmm... I think I like action, or comedy the best, but honestly just getting to hang out with friends made anything fun to watch.

What kind of books do you like? I'll try and find a movie that's similar to that.

I mostly read books for my education. Politics and so forth.

Though I did enjoy stories on heroes.

[He fiddles with the tablet to prop it up, stepping back and transforming into a small white and blue car. He wiggles his wheels, rolling back and forth a bit.]

Yeah, it's weird to me too. From what I've gathered, they weren't born mechanical though. I think? Like they made themselves mechanical bodies. Maybe it's different since I started out that way?

Gods have their heroes, from what I recall.

Right. The people of this world traded all the pleasures of a body for immortality. Having most of their senses, eating, sleeping, all that jazz. That's why I'm surprised to see you join us here!

[He has no authority on any of this beyond the authority of a person who has looked into the information available to the public very extensively, but he speaks with all of that authority anyway.]

[Maybe someone should clue poor Tailgate in on the mysterious secrets of human behavior, like why they like bathrooms so much. How to do that in a way he'd Get It, though? At least he has the advantage of knowing both what bathrooms and what cars are.]

Bathrooms for us might be like a car wash is for you! A place to get cleaned up and do some maintenance. I can't really speak for other species here, but humans need to handle that a few times a day.

I only know of the stories. Long ago, she was the creator goddess. The new dawn. But the descendants of the world started wars and she flooded the world, save for one.

I guess I can kind of understand the appeal... I'm not sure it would be worth giving all that up, though. I might be mechanical, but I still have senses. They just work a little different than an organics' do. I think. I wonder if they knew it would be like that when they did it...?

It can be a pain sometimes! We need a lot more maintenance than you probably do to stay healthy.

It's not all bad either, though! Sometimes it can be nice and relaxing; soaking in a hot bath can be a good way to help if you're stressed out or sore.
