Hey guys, Teo again.

I've been thinking, we all come from such different worlds-- or even different places in similar worlds, we've got to have a really cool mix of different cooking styles and traditional flavors. I know I've seen some unique meals and drinks in just the short time I've been here. Does anyone have any favorite recipes they'd like to share?

It can be as simple or as complicated as you like and it's okay if the ingredients aren't available here. I like looking at the recipes either way. :)

Good afternoon! I come to you today with two questions.

First, or those of you who have come from a time or world significantly different from this one, what has helped you to become accustomed to said differences?

As to the second question... What wines available on this star would you recommend? Dry, red wines are preferred, but if there are any with particularly strong flavors I humbly request you include them as well, even if you would not necessarily claim them to be the best of the batch.

Now that it's staying cold, I figured we could all use something fun around. Or maybe I just what to have fun. Who knows? Either way you'll get to enjoy it.

I plan on doing some decorating around the fountain in the main square. Any requests? I'm pretty confident about most animals and any type of geometric designs. Of course if you pick something I don't know you'll have to give me a pretty good picture of it if you want a close representation. And I definitely can't do specific people. I'm not that talented.

[You might recognize the name of the publication: it is the digital newspaper that Dot puts out IC-ly on a monthly basis (or so) discussing the events and goings-on in and around the city. This one is a little earlier than the usual.]

By now I am sure you all have heard about the disclosure of stolen documents from the Research Towers. If not, I implore you to check the public network feeds. I will not spend time covering them nor regaling you with the tale of how I planned to break this story myself at this time. Instead, I wish only to talk about the Research Towers themselves.

The actions of the Towers last month were damning. In the interest of self-preservation, they put many of their workers in peril and shunned the city itself. It comes as no surprise that many of the locals are incensed and several have resigned from their positions.

Sharing these documents with the public could not be any more transparent of an attempt to placate the populous. If they truly wished to make up for their actions, they would be more forthcoming. Speaking honestly, they should be more forthcoming regardless of their actions last month. Moreover, I believe they should be compensating the workers and families they disrupted.

Do you feel the same?

Like-minded individuals are encouraged to sound off here with whatever thoughts and suggestions they might have - if there is enough consensus around the topic, I will begin work on writing a formal petition and letter to be delivered to the Research Towers. It is a small act in the grand scheme of things but a crucial first step in trying to foster open communication. We’ve developed something of a poor reputation with them but I want to prove that we offworlders are capable of handling things diplomatically.

The effort may ultimately come to naught but this reporter aims to make sure it will not be for lack of trying on our part.

Addendum: If any of you have contacts with former tower workers, please get in touch with me. I would like to garner their support as well.

As this is the time of year in which this world seems the most vulnerable, it seems prudent to remind all to be cautious. Whether or not a disturbance occurs or not, it has been two years since the initial barrier's breach, and one year since, for lack of a better description, a ghostly invasion.

There have been tremors occurring near the factory which can be traced to some noticed issues, though none of the citizens thus far seem to have anything conclusive to report on it, unless they are hesitant to commit to it. Given the barrier in the mine seems to be more vulnerable than the one currently surrounding the city, it might well be considered a point of entry, even if our study of it is still yet limited at this time.

Considering the timing, we will see if this bears any interruption, or potential detraction, from any celebration they may intend to hold in the next coming month.

Figured some folks are new so I'd plug my deliveries and stuff again. If you want somebody to pick something up for you or drop things off somewhere, I can do that. Or if you need a ride, that's cool too. Just drop me a line. I usually do pay-what-you-want, with a base price of [the equivalent of 5 bucks].Usually close shop around 10PM unless you're in dire straits at Insomnia, etc.

What I really wanted to say though is that we've all got replicators and stuff, but a lot of us have been upgrading them, right? We've got a whole ton of stuff in ours, so we figured we'd offer it's services out to everybody else. Just lemme know what you want and we can work it out with the same delivery price or whatever (Lup & Tony -- dunno if your kitchens need more stuff but we could figure out stuff if you wanted)

Magolor used to have a whole thing set up for services and stuff. Dunno if it still works so Shinji and Kyoko and I tried to make a new one for sharing ingredients. Think it should work right here. Our stuff is on there too. for perusing? yeah

My new best furend! [The grin is barely held in laughter at this point.] Don't you think she's purrty? She's a real glamourpuss, but I blame Tony's influence there.

I just wanted to show her off and we wanted to say hi, make sure everyone was feline good after the craziness of last month. [He did laugh now, he was pushing it to cringer levels but he couldn't stop.]

Purrhaps I'll stick around here, if anyone wants to meet Azzy. She likes making new furends.

Hello! This is a little sudden, but I'd like to hear some opinions. Anyone who has time, please go ahead and answer! Does it seem to you like the native folks are getting better at keeping the basic requirements of human life in mind? How should a person bargain for things like meal breaks, sleep breaks and so on with potential employers who haven't needed such things themselves in thousands of years? Would it even be possible to persuade someone like that? Would it be possible for someone with an ordinary, mundane human body to impersonate a robot? How would you do it? Would there be a punishment if you got caught, do you think? This is all just brainstorming, so please don't worry about wrong answers! Thank you!
