[Hummy was told this... device could communicate with others, like a telephone or a computer screen. The robots had showed her how it worked briefly, but she's...kind of already forgotten a lot of it. The shock of arriving in a new world makes it hard to focus on any one thing for too long, y'know? But! She's been staring at it for a while now and thinks she figured out how to get it to work after testing a variety of different buttons.]

[...Look, she is from a time before smart phones and she has no thumbs and she is trying her best, okay? She hasn't figured out how to do audio transcription yet, much less voice or video.]

[She is just… a litle creacher. Thatse it. Hummy inspects the buttons. She’s had a few others instruct her by now as well but she still exercises caution to make sure she hits the right one.]

[N-nyapu?? That's adorable?? Definitely someone really young. Sometimes Ahri can be pretty callous, but she has a soft spot for kids.]

What a nice name! I'm Hummy~♪ It's nice to meet you, nya! Have you been in this place long?

Aww, thanks. Hummy's a pretty cute name, too.

Just a couple months. I kinda need to get back home, but it's not too bad being here. How about you? Did you just arrive?

Yes! I just got here, but I've already met many nice people, like you!

Did the Gods [...Right? That's what the robots said, right? She's already sort of forgetting.] pull you away while you were doing something important back home?

Kinda...[VERYMUCHYES. But she hasn't gotten into that with anyone, and she's definitely not going to burden a cute little kid with it. Instead, she'll give her standard lie: ]

I had a big test coming up in school and all. I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna have to get an F on it. [This is a convincing thing for a normal teenager to worry about, right? She's got the flippant tone down.]

At least there's no school here, so it's kinda like a vacation.

[As someone who lived with a middle schooler who was notorious for not studying until the last minute (if at all), the lie is super convincing to Hummy. She believes it wholeheartedly. Maybe a little too wholeheartedly, in fact. Part of what Ahri says resonates with her and she falls quiet for a bit, mulling it over. When she speaks again, her voice is more subdued. There’s a new weight to it - a little tense, a little scared.]

…Do you think time keeps going in our worlds while we’re here?

[She hadn’t really considered the possibility before. She hadn’t really thought about how she came here much at all. It’s. kind of harrowing, actually. And it makes sense, of course. That’s what logically would happen, right? It’s not like everything would be magically frozen in time just because she was gone... right? ”You’re such an airhead!” the voice of her friend Siren rings out in her mind, gently chiding her for such ideas. It doesn't normally sting when she says that, but for some reason, this time it does. Congrats, you’ve spared her the burden of your troubles but given her some, like, low-key EXISTENTIAL DREAD.]

I mean...[Well....yes, that's what she thinks. But it's obvious that Hummy's realized how awful that prospect actually is, especially when they have no idea when they'll be sent back. Should Ahri try to smooth it over? You can't hide bad things from kids forever. She's far too cynical to think that.

But you can try and soften them, maybe. That's what she'll do. Trying to sound casual again; ]

I dunno, is it possible to stop time? I guess I didn't know it was possible to get sent to another world, so...!

[Unfortunately, Hummy isn't from the precure season where stopping time is like, the big bad's whole deal. If she was then she'd at least have some some sort of basis for answering this question!! As it stands, though, she simply doesn't know, and it's kind of a little terrifying.]

I'm not sure... I've never heard of it. Everyone back home was turned to stone once [Twice actually but details] but it didn't stop the time or anything. But!! It's like you said, nya, there are a lot of strange things happening in this place so... it might be possible for these 'Gods' to do something like that! [She sounds a little less panicked. Surely a god could do something like that. And surely a god wouldn't intentionally make life difficult for people, right? (Nobody tell her about Greek/Roman mythology...)] I hope so, at least...

[Gods are definitely always nice and never difficult. And they never create magical girls just to let them burn out spectacularly because it's "destiny" or whatever. Well, she supposes the First Light isn't exactly a god per se, but AAAANYWAY]

Right. If they can bring us here, they can probably do lots of stuff. [Now, time for Distraction. She brightens up her tone.]

Everyone got turned to stone?! That sounds really crazy! What happened then?

The Precure fought the bad guy who caused it and purified him! Then I sang the Melody of Happiness and everyone was restored! [That probably raises more questions than it answers. Whoops.]
