M.E. 722-IV-29th
1-Achtom-4th
This is Chief Besithia. I have three unneeded beds. Anyone who needs a spare may come pick them up. In exchange, I will take any spare desks, dressers or shelving.
I will also accept metal scraps that might be recovered from areas struck by weather anomalies.
[Yes, he claimed a townhouse for himself. No, he didn't bother trying to find a roommate. Yes, he is getting rid of the bedroom furniture to use the rooms for something else. Fight him.
Sorry to any residents who might need those rooms in the future.]

[It's kind of hard to turn the magic off, Verstael.]
If it helps any, my sword will stay within the Armiger. My hands will be elsewise occupied anyway.
[With, you know, a desk. Though, the chair is probably small enough he can just chuck it into the Armiger to make things a little easier.]
no subject
[No, he doesn't trust you, Regis. But he isn't about to hide, either.]
You may bring your desk. [He inserted directions, which weren't complex considering they were all staying in the same sort of places.]
no subject
[Regis takes a moment to read over the instructions and then nods to himself.]
I shall be there in about ten minutes.
no subject
[Who would have expected that he and the king of Lucis would be swapping furniture? Well, business was business.
He locked up his paperwork - for its safety, not Regis' - and headed outside to wait after sending the location.]
no subject
[Once Regis arrives, he sets the desk down in front of Verstael, stretching the kinks out of his arms afterward.]
I have the chair in the Armiger, but I will wait to bring that out until we have this where you want it. Unless you would rather I not even set foot in your home.
[Honestly, he would find it rather amusing to watch Verstael try to wrestle a desk into the house, but somehow he doubts that's going to happen.]
no subject
And, much like he would with one of his subordinates, he directed him.]
You may move it into that room. The bed you want is in there.
[Without lifting a finger to help, he headed towards the open bedroom that was meant to be used by another guest. Should they arrive in the future and find they need a bed they would have to make do with sleeping on a desk now. He headed into the room with a confident stride in his step in order to watch.]
no subject
Besides, there's really no fun in it if there is no way to get Verstael to believe it wasn't on purpose.
Once the desk itself is settled, he begins to reach into the Armiger to pull the chair free, but stops figuring he had better give the wary scientist a warning first.]
I'm only bringing the chair out. Unless you would prefer to kneel when working at that desk?
no subject
Palm up, he twirled his hand in front of himself, indicating that Regis should carry on.]
I've no plans on standing up while I work. No one needs that amount of exercise.
[Because he always worked.]
no subject
[With no more hesitation, Regis pulls the chair from the Armiger and settles it at the desk. He then turns toward the bed and gives it an appraising look.]
I don't suppose you have a screwdriver available so I can take this apart, do you?
no subject
...Indeed, I do.
[After speaking following a hesitation, he moved to the other room, opening his door to enter 'his room' and dig through his tool box, bringing back a rather old and well-used screwdriver. Having worked with tools long enough, he was pretty good at guessing the size he needed.
Then he hesitated again to actually hand it over.]
You're not simply going to transport it as you did the rest?
[Are you up to something, Regis?]
no subject
[Honestly, Verstael. You may be smart, but you have little common sense, apparently.
Regis takes the screwdriver without waiting for a response and kneels by the bed. In a surprisingly short amount of time, he's figured out the best way to take apart the frame so it can be banished into the Armiger, leaving him only the mattress to carry back to the house.
Honestly, compared to figuring out how to do maintenance on the Regalia, this is nothing.]
