When the message flashes that morning, expected that they would not be opening for the obvious reasons despite the lack of warning even to her, while she'd known the truth of the situation long before the announcement, she yet has to pop in and check on the cats, bring them home, manage anything outstanding, everything's cleaned, signs are up, reflecting their temporary status, forcing her own efficiency and focused habits to get through--

And then it's time to join Lup in the blanket nest. She does not expect her to speak now that she's been pushed to this but she's not just going to leave her alone after that. ]

[Lup barely reacts to the sudden invasion, but neither does she reject it; she's curled up on her side with her back to the unoccupied space of the bed- or rather, Taako's bed, as they'd had the two pushed together and shared for months and months now. She's on his side, wrapped in at least three blanket layers, her hair messy and hugging a pillow to her chest. Any visible skin is cold to the touch, colder than usual today, an obvious tell of her undead status.]

I have put notices around the cafe, and the cats are here... acclimating.

[ Being being on top of this is what she must do. The additional coldness accompanying Lup doesn't go unnoticed, as she carefully checks on her. ]
