My name is Ken. I need a job and a roommate.

It actually only takes her about a minute and a half to get to him, and the reason for that seems to be that she ran full-tilt to get there. She's breathing heavily, but smiling all the same as she approaches Ainea's temple, waving her hand excitedly.]

....She ran to come see him. Because she's picking him up, she ran.
She wanted to meet him faster.
Ken jogs over to meet her in turn, feeling a little fluttery at the thought of being wanted like this. ] Mitsuri-san. Thank you again, very much.
[ This is happening. She's actually here, and it's happening. Ken asked for a roommate and someone said yes.
This is so new. He's kind of excited. ]

[She giggles and straightens herself back up.]
So the housing is this way. You'll want to make sure you pay close attention so you don't get lost when you go out.
[She actually... holds her hand out to him. He doesn't have to take it! It's just there if feels like it, as an extra safety net to not get lost.]

Ken freezes up when he's embraced, but it's more from surprise than discomfort, really, probably. His eyes are slightly out of focus when she pulls back - what had that...why....what?
Could someone asking to move in with her really make someone this....? They don't even know each other......
Ken appreciates the hand, he really does, but he's feeling a bit overloaded right now so his own hands are going in his pockets. Apologetic smile. ] R-right. Thank you.

[ Oh, Ken has a theory. It's still mostly the stuff of science fiction in his world, but considering that this one was initially populated by robots, he can't be surprised.

I do! It's actually very peaceful compared to where I'm from. I mean, of course I'm worried about the people at home, but... it's nice here.
