I actually wanted to see about upgrading it to respond to vocal commands and read out menu items so that Ignis would be better able to make use of it...

[The Ignis in his time is better equipped than this one to deal with a variety of things but there was nothing that could be done to improve the touch screen options. ]

Perhaps we can see about some better options as well.
