This is Fëanor. I'd like to have a word with anyone who has a garden here. If you have any redundant plant material I'd like to examine it.
It has come to my attention recently that paper is scarce here. Apparently, the locals do not feel the need to write things down I suppose. I find it outrageous and plan to fix it, but I need material to work with.

Unless they're being funny. But they've always seemed so helpful to me!

I hope your day is going well. You know my garden is still a work in progress, but I do have some flowers and trees that are already established. Do you have a specific kind of material you are seeking?

Anything that's hardy or fibrous, like flax, hemp, cotton or bamboo. If you have fallen branches to spare, I could use them for paper.

I'm afraid the flowers might not. I'm sure they have many merits on their own, just not for what I'm trying to recreate here. The branches though, I can definitely put them to good use, and to more ends than just producing paper.

[Ignore him as he dies laughing over here.]

Even the stupid train provided basic necessities like that.

Yeah this place has some very strange things it doesn't have. Medicine in particular. Eventually I plain on working with someone to create a real pharmacy but the lack of burgers and beer was more pressing.
[It wasn't like Feanor knew very well the medication Tony was talking about and the rest of that was a distraction, right?]

[He does. That's the funny thing with elves. They tend to remember things very well. So the next text is a bit delayed as Fëanor isn't really in the mood of sharing the stream of expletives he just directed at the Powers of this world with Tony. Or anyone else for that matter.
For all that is good and holy! If they really need to drag people here, at least they should make sure those very people don't die or end being utterly miserable from preventable causes!
He might be very wrong but he's also quick to anger.]
Beer and burgers? Why am I not surprised those were your top priorities.

Re: text
[He has standards, and all those synthetic materials do not meet them. It's that simple.]

And, unless you have some method of speeding up the growth rate of plants, I don't see how you'll produce anything for several months.

[Fëanor's
a snob, let's face itmore discerning where it comes to material he's supposed to work with. It's not that it would be impossible to do anything with an inferior one. It's just that he really doesn't like to.]Quality requires time. I doubt a few months would make much difference.
