[Video] ART CLUB?
I've been thinking, since there are a lot of us here from different worlds and periods in time, about forming a... hm, sort of hobby group? For art, for traditional mediums. Painting and sketching. It may not be cheap, with the lack of real paper, but it's a wonderful way to socialize and relieve stress. The locals might also be interested in the results, so it's extra dora for our pockets.
Were I in a better position currently, I'd considering opening a small business for it. I imagine buying sketchpads and canvas in bulk would provide a reasonable discount.
[Oh no, he's considering the pros and cons of this idea on camera. After a moment though, he clears his throat.]
Not in the same place each month, mind you. That would be boring, I think, and we have time to find somewhere indoors to meet when the weather is too cold.

It is not the largest space, but you would be welcome to hold meetings at Petals and Pages if you'd like.
...As long as paint doesn't get on the books...

Oh! No, please don't worry about that. I'd be sure to bring covers so that any spilled paint is easy to clean up rather than leaving it behind.
[He would never allow a book to be damaged.]

Then feel free to use the space. I would not mind keeping the shop open later if it is an evening activity or moving some couches

[And if she's going to offer space for it, why not ensure she can have fun too?]

I... may try. My sister was much better drawing than me.

[He offers with a grin.]
We could even think about one of the outer walls for a potential mural spot if you get enough people involved.

That would be interesting. A mural with all our styles mixed together, to show we were here.

[It was possible the young man didn't know who he was in connection to the public disturbance, so Tony didn't want to push his luck here. Still, he was a philanthropist at heart and couldn't help himself from at least offering.]
Personally, I'm not an artist so I'll have to leave the details in your capable hands, but murals back home I saw always seemed to liven up a community in positive ways.

There weren't too many where I came from but I'm sure you're right. And even if you aren't an artist, sometimes it's an excellent way to relieve stress, if you change your mind. I'm planning to bring extra supplies anyway.

What might be holding you back from opening the business, if you don't mind me asking?

Video; Did somebody say "Art Club"?
[And totally not to impress people or anything.. Ha... Not at all...]
That sounds quite interesting. How would you go about it?
Video; indeed he has!
[In fairness, he hadn't either until he left England.]
Right now, my main plan is to buy basic supplies from the natives for a start, enough to get everything in motion. And we have a couple people volunteering their businesses for locations to meet up as well as places like the Botanical Gardens and such.

[Short supply? Ciel gives a nod.] Somewhat. Since their world was dying, a lot of resources we would take for granted where we come from, aren't something the natives would consider. Paper for example, but they do make a synthetic paper for us to make up for it, even if it is a bit most costly.
I'm considering ways to provide paint brushes for a more affordable cost but I'm going to have to find the right people to approach first.

That makes sense. Worst case scenario, there must be a way to fashion some together.

It would spare them needing to clean up and we could provide some community service and form necessary connections for the future.

[And Alphinaud was all about making connections.]

Why, that sounds lovely! Iβve always felt most at home among bohemian types. Iβm more a student of the written word but Iβve dabbled in painting and even done a little modeling - Iβd be happy to attend and help with the endeavor how I can.

I'd hate to leave anyone out if I can help it.
