But if you THOUGHT a robot might have had a stroke, would it be appropriate to nag them to see
a robot doctor right away? Or is it fine to let them get repairs on their own schedule?

I kinda don't know how computers work at all...

I noticed something odd about them, too. It's rather concerning. Some sort of virus or malfunction comes to mind. Alternatively, it could also be an update that's not proceeding as it's supposed to.

I guess I always thought they were too advanced to have that kind of issue come up anymore... but like I said, I'm really totally clueless about computer problems.

But if it's not just me that thinks its a worry, then maybe it really IS a worry.

I think that it's good that you've brought this up to everyone. Perhaps others were thinking the same thing, and you were the first to start a discussion. [ Praise is given when praise is due! ]

I know that there are repair shops around the town, and one of the most important parts to the locals' systems are their chassis units, which are made of a special alloy of nicean and sildar ore, the kinds mentioned in the archives. Perhaps some of them are malfunctioning, or maybe they have another memory component that's malfunctioning. But at this point, we can only speculate. Anyone's theories here are as good as anyone else's.

The thing is, they didn't seem very worried at all themselves. And I don't know much about technology, so I really can't tell if this a routine thing for them or not. I guess I might be overreacting a little bit.

If they were not aware of something amiss, another of their number might be more attentive to the nature of their problem, unless it was a widespread situation. If you know someone closer to them that might be able to approach more freely, that could be a solution.

Or it could be likely they might not want to concern us with the details personally, if they are aware of the cause.

I guess I could try asking some of the other priests. They're all really reasonable as a general rule, AND they're bound to know more than me, so if it's important they'll make the right call, I would think?

A robot doctor would definitely know better than any of us, right? I guess the robots themselves would know better about their own bodies in general too, but a... check-up? Or repair? Something like that should be taken care of quickly if something is weird, I would think.

I don't know a whole lot about how computers work, and less about robots, but updates should be pretty simple to do? A reminder now and then to get things checked out and make sure any updates happened smoothly couldn't hurt.

I guess the only ones who know how their computer brains work would be the other robots who do maintenance on their computer brains?? So we just have to take their word on it. But it's kind of a worry, you know?

They do have repair shops, but it's not like I've spent much time in them... It'd be kinda weird if a non-robot went in and just started asking questions about robot brain health, right?

[ If Era had said just about anything else, Kyoko would have stuck faithfully to her promise to not talk to her anymore. But, well. If anyone might have a clue about what's going on, Era does strike her as a likely candidate. And this feels important.

Point out the odd behaviour to them whenever you notice it. Do not allow them to brush it off as they may forget the incident, and thus forget to seek out any treatment.

I will be sure to visit Rawna's temple more frequently in the coming days to check up on them. If you wish to keep an eye on things and note any changes the help would be appreciated, but if you would rather not involve yourself too deeply you needn't feel obliged to do so.
