What do you live for?

[ it's a very simple question. But Kaworu has been asking himself that ever since he was brought back to this world. His own role has been fulfilled and the thing he wanted to happen did, therefor... there is nothing else to him.

And yet he is still here. To live or to die doesn't matter to him, but he has a reason for the later, not for the first. So kaworu does what he does best: he asks other people.

It's also because he is endlessly curious about everyone.

Hmmm! We could meet in front of Affurgato! Do you know where that is? If not, that’s okay! We can meet at the fountain and I can show you it on the way too!!

I have never been to Affurgato. We may see it together, then.

[And off she goes! Catch her prancing on all fours towards the fountain, humming a little tune to herself as she travels. When she spots Kaworu in the distance, she picks up speed, racing over to the lad.]

Ka~wo~ru!! Hello, nya!

[ kaworu is waiting, as promised. He offers the other a smile and waits for her to be nearby before speaking ]

Hello, Hummy. I'm happy to see you again.

I'm happy to see you too, nya! [Hummy had been aware, on some level, that Kaworu had left before, but she had tried not to dwell on it much because losing friends made her sad. She'd be all the more sad if she knew the circumstances that Kaworu 'returned home' to, so it's probably for the best this way.]

Are you ready to go? [She's so excited that she barely waits for a response, starting off towards the southwest and cheerfully explaining as she goes] Affurgato isn't too far from here! I'm surprised you've never been, nya. There are lots of other cats that stay there, and they've got such delicious cakes~!

Thank you for taking me. [ Kaworu smiles. He will let Hummy lead the way, although that means Kaworu will be giving shorter steps. Not that he minds] I never had cake. [ the food he used to eat was... Pills. Just pills.]

Do you feel more at home, being with other cats?

Really!? We have to fix that, nya! You can try Affurgato's cakes and I can bring you some of Lucky Spoon's cupcakes and! And–!!

[She's ready to go on a full-fledged cake tangent, but you managed to reel her back in, Kaworu.]

Mm, it does remind me a little of home, nya! It's not quite the same, though. I can kind of sense what they're thinking but I can't talk to them like the cats in Major Land or on Earth. I wish I could... I'm sure they have wonderful stories to tell!
