Yeah so hazmat is hazardous material aka BAD SHIT The bubble barrier we're in shields us from the bad environment outside, which got so bad because everyone is robots now? They got too advanced too fast and the world fell behind to the point of falling apart kinda So the gods bring us here because we have skin and stuff, and since people have been here, the bubble's gotten bigger and some actual nature appeared. Weird plan is working Science peeps and some of the ones brought here wanted to see how the rest of the world was doing though, so they made protective suits to check it out, but the bad shit wrecked the suits I think the suits were made of the same metal that the robot bodies were? Either way, they don't have a lot of it anymore apparently and the mine is closed, which means if you want to see more of the world your best bet is to wait for the bubble to expand again As far as I know, the bubble is powered by the gods and not something that makes more sense
