[ When the transmission begins, Todoroki seems a little worse for wear. He's been exhausted as of late, with all of what's been affecting his sleeping hours. Still, he also appears relatively at ease. The cat very peacefully napping in his lap is likely playing a role. ]

My name is Todoroki Shouto, and while I arrived about a month ago, I hadn't gotten around to asking: what sort of jobs are available, here? [ . . . . ] I already know that physical contact is the primary method of sustaining oneself, but I'd like having something to work with as well.

[ He pauses. Hm. ]

I was in a different world before this one, apart from my home, where I held a couple of positions. The main one was managing the city's ice skating rink, which had been very enjoyable and rewarding. I also took on various Tasks, which the natives would post, ranging from hunting and fighting, to domestic work, security, and others. It would be nice to be able to incorporate my Quirk - special powers, in terms of my home - which involves fire and ice, but it isn't necessary; I have a wide range of skills.

[ He's about to end things here, lingering, but thinks to add on something more unrelated. ]

. . . I'd also like to know if there's anywhere I could acquire a violin from. Thank you.

It kinda sounds like you're on a job interview already! I dunno about anyone else, but I'm convinced!

I'm just meaning to explain a few things, rather than anyone needing to ask. It's my first time doing that sort of interview, though.

[ Anything related to an occupation of sorts, for him, has to do with, well. Becoming a pro hero. Which is quite different. ]

Really? Coulda fooled me! But as long as you're explaining stuff...

What do you mean by that fire and ice part?

As mentioned, it's what my Quirk consists of: I can create fire from the left side of my body, and ice from my right. In my world, special abilities are known as "Quirks." It is something that a person is born with, and around eighty percent of the world's population possess one.

Wait, that's amazing though! [ Powers like that certainly would have been helpful in a lot of ways, but instead of being envious his eyes were wide in awe. ]

You can just make your own skating rink instead of finding one!

I suppose I could. Maybe I'll look into doing so. Although there would also be the matter of an actual building and other such components. A rink isn't solely a sheet of ice, and it isn't as though I can create skates.

[ However, he knows someone who definitely can. . . ]

[ He made a not-totally-realistic suggestion, but that didn't stop him from thinking very hard about it. C'mon, brain! Do your thing! ]

I'm trying, but the ideas aren't coming out! Setting up a big tent is all I've got!
