Hello. There are a few new books available at Petals & Pages to read. I hope to continue expanding its stock.

I am also curious about peoples' opinions on something. There have been more than a few posts regarding birthdays-- do you find them important? Is it important you know someone else's? I feel as though there are many takes on this.

Well, if people don't know their birthdate for themselves, that's one problem.

But telling them in advance not to make a fuss is still a gamble. They're more likely to respect your wishes, but you can't expect them to do nothing, either.

That makes sense, if someone were to have preferences.

Spending time with friends is the best way, for me.

[She does like gifts, sometimes, but talking about that with someone she's only met in the past month isn't likely to occur to her.]

What we're doing isn't as important.

So, if you wanted to hang out, or wouldn't mind that, that'd be a good option. Does that make sense?

I would trust that if someone wanted to do something, they would say so.

I thought we were talking about other people.

I am not sure why they would want to, but I cannot stop people from doing things.
