Hello. There are a few new books available at Petals & Pages to read. I hope to continue expanding its stock.

I am also curious about peoples' opinions on something. There have been more than a few posts regarding birthdays-- do you find them important? Is it important you know someone else's? I feel as though there are many takes on this.

Birthdays are useful for marking the passage of time, and tracking one's growth and development when young to assure their health is good. As people grow older there is less objective worth to birthdays. So long as someone knows how many summers or winters they've seen, that is adequate enough in the eyes of medicine.

Disregarding the academic and medical value of them, however... If something is important to a person I care for, then it becomes important to me as well.
