Hello. There are a few new books available at Petals & Pages to read. I hope to continue expanding its stock.

I am also curious about peoples' opinions on something. There have been more than a few posts regarding birthdays-- do you find them important? Is it important you know someone else's? I feel as though there are many takes on this.

Hm.. Parties are proving to be a popular option. Since those require planning, it makes sense that people would want others to know.

yeah!!! it's pretty hard to throw a surprise party too if you don't know when their birthday is

That would be more of a surprise, yes. But you would have to try and do it before the day, wouldn't you? Or they might think people forgot, if they are used to parties.

it's no good if they think people just forgot!

maybe instead of saying "happy birthday!" they can yell out "happy early birthday"?

Just "happy birthday" probably works better if you are yelling.

You could explain the early part when you hug them.
