Hello! If we haven't met, my name is Kyoko Mogami!

I noticed the research center is offering money for new recipes, but it seems like they want it to be some kind of team effort? In any case, I already had some notes written up about some of the dishes I've been able to make satisfactorily since I got here, so if anybody would like to help me with the taste testing and descriptions, I can neaten up those recipes for submission. And of course we would split the compensation!

Oh, but I've also gotten some additions to my replicator since I wrote down those other recipes, so I can do a lot more now! So far I have kombu, bonito flakes, miso, soy sauce, sake, and tofu! So if you want to try something that's not in the notes, just tell me what it is! Nikujaga would be nice, right?

Heeeeey, Kyoko! I'm more than happy to help out. Those recipes look awesome so count me in as interested. Japanese food is pretty awesome, but I haven't gotten to have any in soooooo long.

Definitely a fan, though it was always really hard to find actual authentic stuff. Favorite, uhhh, oh man... I'm not sure. Though I do have a really fond memory of one place me and my siblings went to, and what was it... I think... Sukiyaki? The bowls were huge and I could barely finish mine but it was so yummy!

They're mostly pretty similar things though, if you think about it. I was getting kinda desperate for a while....

I don't know the dishes you made recipes for, but if you want the opinion of someone having it for the first time, I guess I could help. I'll be more help with recipes using your newer ingredients though.

I can try to make you something more familiar! The reason I made all those notes in the first place is because I was at a loss when I first got here, you know? I was just desperately finding things to do with what I could get... I do really like some of them, though.

But it's a relief to have some of the basics from home again! I want to use them! Is there something you really, really like to eat?

You have everything for miso soup. Do you know how to make that? I can, but I don't know how to translate it into a recipe like yours for it to be useful. Those measurements are new to me.

[ Miso soup is actually a favorite food of his along with vegetable pickles. He leans towards rather homely stuff. ]

Oh, I wasn't trying to ask for help with cooking! Tasting is the most important part. We have to make sure the natives can really understand the flavors, you know? It's tough!

Are you sure you don't want anything? I still haven't treated you....

Oh, no no! I actually haven't even made other flavors yet, really.
Though I did recently have someone bring over some pudding to put between the layers instead of the usual marmalade.

You didn't know? Even the basic replicators can have add-ons! I'm not sure how it works, but it's been a lifesaver!
