Hey folks. PSA for you. Name's Lup, I own Affurgato. Congrats to those who've already met my fabulous self.

As a heads up: I'm a lich. Other terms include: undead, corpse-walker, monster, abomination. Someone screamed "The Raven's Misfortune" at me once and I thought that was delightfully poetic.

If you have a problem with this, you can eat my entire ass. If you want to BRING your problem to me, I'll be happy to set YOUR ass on fire.

Now, are there any deeply personal details I ought to know about you in order for us to be friends? Apparently I have trust issues and aren't accustomed to mortal cultural norms.

[ With that way that centuries blur, and with all that she had experienced, tugged here, from one universe to the next... the way their souls had spoke they might as well have known one another for as long. Even a single day of talking could shift through years of never knowing how to relate to someone else. Never knowing that she could. Until she could.

For Lup to have said it, she was grateful, too... even if the chance of it being otherwise were there, there was so much power in acceptance, the warmth that radiated from it, the... relief, that she hadn't been too much or not enough. ]

Yep. Sounds like it's business as usual for this house.

[She indulges for a few moments longer, curled up and quiet, until at last she stretches her legs out.]

Well... that's enough of being pathetic about men. Shall we get back to work? I'd like to finish at least one side today.

[ As good as it feels to simply indulge in this comfort of the moment, she also knows all too well the desire to get back to work. All the better to do it with clearer minds and hearts. Building this foundation together. ]

There is still much to do, but I have a good feeling about what we'll accomplish today.

[With some reluctance she draws away, getting to her feet, and offers her hand out to Honerva to help her up.]

[As always, life moves forward. This is no different than any other experience- at least, it'll feel that way in time.]

[ Lup's hand is there, and as she has done so many times by now, Honerva takes it, for the lifeline it is and the one it continues to be.

Time might indeed still move forward, but better for them to be moving along with it instead of getting caught otherwise. The pain would always be real, but what they could do in this moment...

The metaphors were many, but the sentiment was stronger. They were learning, and healing, and building something new. ]
