She likes a neat house, what can she say? Though she does acknowledge it won't be able to stay that way.]

Hello everyone! My name is Aqua and it's come to my attention that there are several unaccompanied children here in Havenwell. Or- young people, if not children.

So I'm opening my home to them. I have a couple children staying already, just so no one has to be on their own sooner than they should be, and I can take in a few more. We have four rooms, I don't mind sleeping on the couch to keep as many people living comfortably as they can.

Once I can save up enough dora, I have every intention of getting a much bigger home or getting help from Havenwell to keep a more organized system. For now though, it's just me.

If you need somewhere to stay, or know someone who does, don't be afraid to bring them by or point them by way. [Attached is a file for where her particular house is located.]

Don't worry about owing anything or needing to help either. I won't object but I don't want anyone to feel obligated, okay?

[Ha ha ha NO why is this the first message he sees. There is a very complicated emotion happening here in Kai’s everything. He knew he wasn’t really qualified for helping kids out but he didn’t expect to have it thrust so deliberately in front of his face so soon. Here it comes! The big Non Important Feeling.

You work with a lot of kids before?

[Fate! At least, that would be Aqua's explanation. The way she grew up, nothing was without purpose of some sort. It might seem it at first but it all works out as it needs to.]

Actually, no. I was supposed to but a few things happened that kept me from ever doing so. Now I'm just... trying to help.

Huh. Nice of you. [Well, ‘supposed to’ might have meant it was something she had wanted to do. Opening her home no questions asked probably meant that too.]

You’re making sure they actually want to stay there, right? Not just... telling other people to bring them over.

[She looks a little surprised at first. Making sure? And then she smiles and nods.]

Of course. This is mostly just so people know there's somewhere open to them all. Rather than going through a lot of trouble trying to find someone who might or shuffling them around.

Mm, alright. S’long as they get a choice.

[There’s a quiet beat, as Kai turned over that maybe this was coming off odd.]

Having an option is good, It just... might make them feel like a burden, y’know? If someone else was just going to drop them off.

Of course, it's good that you're looking after them like that too.

[Maybe a bit but he's lucky that Aqua's not the type to judge him too hard for it.]

That's true. I don't want anyone to feel like that, I just want to give them a chance to be comfortable. If they don't have to worry about much, they have a chance to just be themselves here. [And be kids.]

[That's kinda very lucky. Nice. Cool. Good.]

That'd be nice.

[Kids getting to be kids was kind of a novel concept to him, but it would be nice. Between orphans and demons and crazy painting worlds, it'd be nice if they each got the chance to just. Chill out a little bit.]

I hope that's how things end up.

[For a moment she just looks thoughtful.]

If you like, we have space, you could come a stay for a few days and get to know them. Ask them if they want to stay or go somewhere else.

[Maybe they'll be more honest with him, if they didn't really want to stay.]

[That caught him off guard. There's a half second of deer in the headlights going on as Kai tried to figure out just what kind of feeling this was tugging out of him.]

No, that's... It's probably better I don't. Can't say I'd be a good influence.

[He rubbed the back of his neck.]

I could drop by sometime though, see if anybody needs anything.

[That's unexpected but she has good enough judgement to not comment on it.]

As long as you're sure but the offer is open, if you change your mind. I'm sure a day or two won't completely ruin the children.
