[Peach is no stranger to ending up in places against her will. However, she's usually aware of how she ends up in such situations. She has no clue how she ended up in Havenwell, and the bot who welcomed her didn't really explain a lot. She got some initial information here and there, about how there are gods and such in this new world, but it's all pretty basic and she's still very much lost.

So she decides to put her communicator to good use. Clearly other people have been dragged here and have been here for longer, so they can provide her with some pointers.

She props up the communicator so she can step up in front of it, and the feed shows her from the waist up, wearing her royal gown still, but with no gloves or crown. The crown is stored safely in her room and she removed the clothes due to it being warm.]

Good day to you all, I've recently arrived in Havenwell. I'm Princess Peach. [She gives the camera a curtsy.] It's a pleasure to meet all of you.

As I'm still quite new to this place, I would appreciate any help and guidance anyone could give me about this place. Ah, and if anyone knows where I can get some new clothes, that would be wonderful! [She chuckles lightly, before ending the feed with a smile and a wave.]

[Fancy? Her? Dot chuckles as well.] I'm flattered you think me fancy, though lumping us together like that may well be doing your lovely gown a disservice.

[She leans forward a bit, interest piqued.] Tennis, though, now that's something! I've only tried it once or twice, myself. But, I must ask, what do you wear while playing sports in your kingdom? Where I'm from, it's much the same affair as everyday wear. I can't imagine it being any cooler. [Playing sports as a woman in the 19th century was definitely A Lot. Dot, however, assumes this discrepancy is simply a cultural difference and not, y'know, a temporal one.]

Ah, you shouldn't say that! I find your outfit very charming! [As much as she likes her pink gown, maybe because she's seen it so many times it's not as impressive to her as people seem to think.]

It's one of my favorite sports to play on my free time, and it's specially nice when I have the chance to play with my friends. [It has been a while since she had the chance to do that though. Between her castle being whisked away, being taken to the moon and travelling to other dimensions, there wasn't much time for recreation.]

I just wear a short summer dress when playing. I can't see myself wearing everyday clothes to play that. [Mostly because her everyday attires are very regal and not very comfortable to run around in. And she also thinks the differences between clothes are cultural and not temporal.]

We seem to come from very different places, hm?

Haha, thank you, you're too kind. Perhaps we'll have to play together sometime, then! I could certainly use some pointers. [Dot's idea of a 'short' dress is still much longer than modern tennis attire, but she nods and smiles all the same, adjusting her mental image.]

As far as the differences, that does seem to be the case. If you don't mind my asking, where do you preside over, Your Highness? [There are certainly no Princess Peaches in England.]

I would be very happy to play with you miss... Oh, I don't think I caught your name, I'm sorry! [Sheesh, where are her manners?]

I don't mind the question at all. My land is the Mushroom Kingdom. I've been it's main ruler for some time now. Although I mostly only attend to the matters of Toad Town for the most part. [She tries to interfere as little as possible in other areas of the land, mostly because of the many different species living in different parts of the kingdom.]

It's a relatively peaceful land, so I don't need to keep an eye on every single town and denizen. Most of them know how to rule themselves quite well. [Why, Shiver City even elected a mayor to keep things in order.]

[She waves her hand dismissively.] No, no, I'm the one who should apologize - I never introduced myself properly. I'm Dorothy Pratt. You can call me Dot if you'd prefer. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[Mushroom Kingdom...and Toad Town? What fantastical names! And such a relaxed rule! Very avant-garde.] It sounds like a very charming place. Are mushrooms among your chief exports, then? They're quite popular where I'm from as well.
