[Anyone coming to visit Lup will find the magical pocket-di-mansion set up much the same as it was few months prior, though the basement will come with some tweaks at Era's request. It's time for NERD BRUNCH!]

I think in general he's pretty good at that. The problem with the both of you is that you basically have zero self-confidence in your own desirability. So like- on one hand, you'll give compliments and back forth! Great! But on the other hand you're a couple of "not good enough for them" ouroboros. Ouroboroses? Ouroborosi? ...Autonom-snakes, plural.

[ She gives a look at Honerva in the vain of "she's right, you know." So self-deprecating! The both of them! And a relationship isn't going to solve that. ]

... It is a complication we both share.

[ Or perhaps another reason their spirits were so kindred? Her ears give an uncomfortable flicker as her gaze shifts, from Lup to Pyra. ]

And both of you are well aware of why that is, on my part, though it could also be possible that such a thing may not have ever truly been a priority for me.

[Lup hums; she gets it, of course. She'd wrestled with a similar guilt after all, but she'd had a long time to come to terms with it and work towards resolving that guilt in a more productive manner. That doesn't mean she'll make it easy to get away with.]

If I didn't think it was possible to change, I wouldn't bother calling it out. But it isn't gonna happen unless you do something about it.

[ At this, she reaches over to pat Honerva upon the back affectionately.

Being kind to herself to believe she's desirable, or even just good enough, isn't a priority? That's absolutely heartbreaking. ]

You're worthy of all of it, Honerva. Affection, love. If not from someone romantic, then us, too, as your friends. [ Family, in Lup's case. ]

... Now where would I be without you to reassure me?

[ It is something on a deeper level that she needs to make peace with. And she hadn't had nearly enough time for that, as much as she's made progress in other ways as much as she is able to exist as she is now.

And to be grateful for companions like these, willing to call her out on it because they... believed in what they were saying, or had found such truths for themselves. ]

But... I understand. This is something more to be... worked upon, even with those complications. Though it is difficult to know where to start... or perhaps how to stop.

It makes sense, that your instincts would be out of whack after this long. Still, as they say, practice makes perfect.

[Or in some cases, practice, and practice, and practice...]

At least, with how the two of you are, you can fumble your way through learning it together, and as long as you're happy, who gives a shit what's "right", really.

That's right. [ She agrees with a nod. ] And you can count on us both to always reassure you.

[ But this time she smiles, seeming a little more relaxed even with their turn. ]

"Perfect" is a bit much but... so long as there's a path there, it's not one to walk alone. [ She glances meaningfully to Pyra. ] ... And that goes for you as well.

[ She hasn't forgotten Pyra's compliment dodging ways, as much as she had been unable to get Honerva to accept the ones given to her. ]

Oh man, do I have to hold you both accountable for this stuff? Because that sounds exhausting. Why can't anybody be cool, confident adults these days?

[Lup drapes her arm over her face, indulging in the melodrama, because that's how she do.]

[ The meaningful look from Honerva, and Lup's subsequent antics, only cause Pyra to do this:

She brings them both into one giant hug. Moved and emboldened by friendship, her tone is reflective and soft. ]

You two-- you two are wonderful.

[ Architect, does she love them both. Always so caring, always so amazing in the best of ways. She's grateful to have gotten to know them. ]

Would that we all had your capability for it Lup.

[ It's so much easier to fluff up others, as much as it is to recognize similarities. Here she chuckles softly, for it is a warm feeling. ]

Now if Pyra would only allow herself to be called wonderful within the same statement that she bestows it upon us, perhaps that would be progress.

[ The turn tables. ]

The only solution to that is to say it for her, as a reminder.

[She spreads her fingers outwards, a tiny explosion of sparks and fireworks peppering the air above them spelling the word out for a handful of seconds before it fades.]

Oh, you two are just... just too kind!

[ Really, calling her wonderful in return? What is this, opposite day where others compliment Pyra?

She'll allow it, if only because she's able to call them kind and hug them at the same time. Which she's doing. ]

[ If Pyra thinks its opposite day that she's being complimented, then clearly she is not being complimented enough. ]
