[Gladio, partially used to this kind of thing now, but still uncomfortable with it because he really doesn't much like tech, just looks tired and irritated.
He sighs, then gives a halfhearted glare when he realises that not only is his face off-center, but he'd holding the phone/tablet-wannabe WAY too close. He pulls it back and finally says what's on his mind.]
... Any reason why blankets shrink on this world?
Asking for a friend.
[A pause, considering...]
Hints on how to make money'd be appreciated too.
Thanks.

Blankets are shrinking? How peculiar...
Oh, but I came to tell you that my understanding is that we engage in physical contact to earn dora. Positive contact. They were very specific about it being positive. Everything from handholding to intimacy was presented to me as viable.

Same happened to two towels.
[An awkward pause.]
... Ah... I'd heard that. I think having a job would help too.

[ Bailey Beale doesn't know what acceptable acquaintance-level personal boundaries are. Are they spicy. Can you eat them. ]
Still, if you're a bit touch-adverse, I've seen plenty of quaint little shops around. Oh, oh! I heard there's even a café run by cats! [ Disclaimer: Affurgato is not run by cats, Bailey just thinks cats secretly run every building they inhabit. ] I don't recall them advertising as hiring, but it can't hurt to ask, right?
no subject
[Unless it's training. And since he didn't think that'd count as positive touch, throwing someone around a crash mat wasn't the gentle caress the world needed.]
Ah... [He rubs the back of his neck, laughing.] I'm not 'touch-adverse', just hard to know who I can touch, and who'd sooner punch me in the throat. [But a cafe run by cats? Sounds interesting to Gladio.]

I'd say the simplest way is to ask, no? And if all else fails, I'd certainly take a hand-in-hand walk in the park with you for pocket change. By zee and sun, I'd do that for free!
[ The last sentence is said half to herself, a certain distance in her eyes as she considers the mental image. Bailey shakes herself out of the daydream and tries to produce a more...helpful response. ]
Anywho...what are your skills, would you say? Maybe there's some place in the city's shopping or entertainment districts that suits you?

The easiest way to make money is by touch...--even holding hands works.
[ He should have earned a good amount during their walk when he first arrived. ]

Doing something is better for me. And if it earns me more currency, even better.
[Sitting around twiddling his thumbs would soon drive him insane.]

Pyra brings a hand to her chin, taking a moment to think before answering. ]
There's odd jobs throughout the city, and you can always help out in the various locally owned shops. You could even begin as an assistant to their research center, too!
no subject
[He'd look into these odd jobs though. And these shops. Maybe one would hire him. Or at least let him help out so he didn't drive himself insane, or into a depressed funk like last time.]

He seems to handle the tablet fairly well, though he moves it a bit to make sure the camera is focused well enough on himself to show a friendly smile--one that didn't very well hide that he was laughing about Gladio's problem. ]
Did you get your issue resolved, or would you like to borrow some of my bedding?
no subject
If it's anything like my towels, it doesn't matter what I use. It shrinks.
But thanks for the offer.
Voice
Gladio.
[ Gladio should know the tone that's using here. He's not amused that the Shield took this long to ask for help like this. ]

As it is, her own visual is simple enough; long white hair mostly pulled back while the rest frames her face, a calm countenance. ]
... Greetings. Were you able to find suitable response to your questions, or are you still searching for answers?

[They'd keep popping up as new things turned up, he was sure.
He smiled though, because the offer for assistance wasn't one he wanted to dismiss out of hand.]
Thanks though. Name's Gladio. And you?
no subject
My name is Honerva. And undoubtedly, there will be more. Sometimes one just needs the time to process what they've learned so far, even if it may encourage more questions later.
no subject
[He thinks. Pretty sure anyway.]
Give me time, I'll have a list of questions.
