Hello everyone, I have a question if I may be so bold to inquire.

I am curious with all the different worlds out there gathered here... How does one celebrate the date of birth. Is it worth celebrating even when it is it time of great sorrow? What are the traditions surrounding it?

I cannot offer much in return of such information, perhaps a hug or a song. Thank you for answering the curiosity of one as myself.

It sounds like a lot of us have similar celebrations. Where I'm from, birthdays are usually celebrated with a party and cake and presents, and singing! My family grew up pretty poor though, but mom did what she could...when I was little, she went out of her way to make sweets herself for my birthday so I'd at least have something nice.
