[The recording Aqua sends out today is short and sweet:]

I had an idea a little while ago, when more people arrived.

How about we all get together and make a cookbook of foods from all of our worlds! That way we can all try some new things or learn to make them and we can share a bit more about our worlds and cultures!

One step at a time, at least. Maybe we could figure out how to program some things in or improve what's already there.

And some people learning to cook never hurts. I wouldn't mind brushing up a bit either.

If those machines can figure out how to give us better quality ingredients, I'll never say no to that. Otherwise, I've got a side gig of doing just that - provided that I get paid and I know what you're asking for.

There's a lot of cooks here, apparently - it's finding true chefs, like yours truly, that seems to be difficult. Not that I wouldn't mind a few sous chefs or three.

I'm definitely not against someone being paid fairly for goods and services. Especially if it gets more people cooking and eating better.

I definitely wouldn't ever call myself a true chef but cooking is fun.

I'm not super huge into being a supplier, but until I get enough to open a pop-up stand, I can make due with earning my funds that way I guess.

So? What's your contribution to this little project of yours?

I used to make breakfast for Ven, Terra, and myself- they probably wouldn't have eaten until lunch if I didn't, the knuckleheads. [She says this fondly.]

I know a few recipes for ice cream though, from Disney Town.

[He had one on the Fleet as well - with him and Lup being the only ones able to transmute that weird protein gel into something palatable. It's not a skill he thought he'd be needing again anytime soon, but here they are.]

As for that ice cream thing - don't tell me: sea-salt?

I've never ever actually had sea-salt before. I was thinking of Fabracadabra or Royalberry ice cream.

Or Bueno Volcano, but most people expect sweet from ice cream, rather than healthy and spicy. So maybe not that.

[Huh, that's a new one. He would have guessed from her aesthetic??? But oh well.

But these other ones? You gotta give us some deets on that. Either now or in the cookbook because those names?

I'm more than happy to add them to the cookbook. I can't really describe Bueno Volcano too well, I liked the sweeter ice creams better. I'll do my best though. Unless Goofy had it, we might need to hope Terra or Ven show up to describe it.

Two: do you seriously know someone named Goofy or is this a nickname sitch?

Oh no, his name is definitely Goofy. He's a friend from my world, and he's here in Havenwell if you'd like to meet him.

[The ice cream takes a little thought.]

Hm, Bueno Volcano... pepper I think. Spiciness, definitely, [obviously] and some kind of vegetable to balance it all out.

[Ohhhh, Istus, he cannot believe this is happening. A guy named Goofy.]

I just have to know - does he have six friends named Happy, Slappy, Drowsy and whatnot? Because this is effin' classic.

[The notes on the food get taken as an afterthought because it isn't quite enough to go on, but it's enough to at least start something. It won't be the same, especially without a visual cue of some sort, but it's something.]

[The joke goes over head. For a moment. Then she giggles and shakes her head.]

No, his friends are Donald and Mickey. I do know some dwarves though named Grumpy and Happy. [Not all of them, and their meeting had been brief.]

Holy shit. I was joking?

[He laughs, high and incredulous.]

Merle would shit himself if you told him that you actually knew dwarves named Grumpy and Happy. That's the sort of joke we said at him to make him mad. Never really worked that often.

[Joking or not, Aqua laughs again.]

It's too bad you can't meet them but I'm sure they'd be busy even here. [Even if none of them had been very happy when she first visited Dwarf Woodlands.]

Maybe I could ask Goofy is he knows anything about them for you? It's been eleven years since I saw them so he'd know better than me.

Just need their Grumpy Hancocks or whatever so I can prove it to the old man that they exist - no need to meet them, really.

But if you guys got a Goofy, a Grumpy, and a Happy, do you have like...a Serious..y? Or a Dummy?

Hm, there was Sleepy and Bashful. It's been a long time.

[She might have to ask Goofy to refresh her on the last few. And how they're doing, and Snow White. And her Prince.]

So-- So you- Have Goofy, Grumpy, Hap-- Happy, Sleepy, and Bashful? Who named these guys? A thesaurus?

How did you even meet them?

Goofy I met in Yen Sid's tower, when I found King Mickey lost in the Lanes Between. The dwarfs, I met them when I visited their world. They were mourning their princess who'd been cursed, so I went to find a way to help.

Fuck that's some nerdy adventurer's shit if I've ever heard it.

[Wait.]

...When you visited their world? What do you mean by that?

Huh? Oh, I'm a member of an order whose duties are to protect the Worlds and prevent them from falling to Darkness. As well and protecting the Princesses of Heart. To do that, we have to be able to travel to those other worlds.

[Well shit, there it is. The ability to travel worlds was once again not limited to his plane. Apparently a lot of places could do it, even if it was a rare ability in his world.]

No shit, huh? So you're just...like the Universal Police? Fuck, that sounds exhausting.
