How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
[He normally would try to lay low in a given world. Faust, too, has suggested he's should. Brining attention onto himself is a bad, bad, very bad idea.
But he can't help it. There's working internet. And he has the power of typing and bad ideas on his side.]
Hey new world! I'm Teo! Just got here. I'm from Earth, but from my last world, I learned that's pretty common, and every Earth seems to be different from the others. Who's from somewhere new and who here's from Earth? And for those from Earth, what's the thing that makes it different?
Alternate introduction question: What's everyone's favorite thing to do here?

I haven't found many yet who have things normal.
Mine used to be that before, but definitely not anymore.
It does seem weird there are so many Earths.
You'd think these places would grab more aliens.
no subject
If anything, this place is evidence that aliens are rare and Earth is really special for supporting life, I guess. There are definitely SOME non-Earthlings around, but I wonder how many of the are actually from a planet that's basically Earth anyway, besides having things like magic or talking cats.
no subject
But I'll take this instead.
I'd say that's a lonely thought but given there seem to hundreds of Earths
I guess it's not that lonely after all.
Really would've preferred talking cats though.
That sounds fun.

^You don't have to answer this if you don't feel like it!
Anyway, maybe you'll meet Hummy-chan sometime soon, since you're here now.
no subject
[He doesn't see a reason to dodge around that.]
Not sure how long its been.
A couple years maybe, but not too many.
There's a talking cat here?
For real?
Oh man, this is awesome.
no subject
I don't usually say this kind of thing, but congratulations on not being there anymore.
To be honest, it's kind of weird to jump from that to talking about cats, but there is a talking one here, it's true. She's extremely cute, and can tell you about the magical girls she knew at home.
no subject
World after it was too, but worse and better at the same time.
Thanks.
I got on okay personally but I'm pretty happy to have electricity and stuff back.
Zombie apocalypse is kind of normal for me at this point.
Talking cats, not so much.
I'll keep an eye out for her.
I have a friend who'd probably like to meet her too.
no subject
[ What if the REAL reason everyone became robots was to avoid zombie bites?? ]
But it usually doesn't feel too much like an apocalypse here inside the barrier, so that's surely a plus.
Hummy-chan is pretty outgoing, I'm sure she'd be happy to be introduced.

They've never told you?
[That concerns him. He'll set delights aside for this.]
If it were a kind of undead situation, I could help.
no subject
But there IS a lot of mystery around this place. The story is that the locals left their flesh-and-blood bodies behind to become the robots that are around today because they thought it would save the world, but since these gods thrive on skinship, the plan backfired. But that was thousands and thousands of years ago, so it seems like a lot of details got lost.
no subject
I'm not going to be disappointed if there aren't any undead.
I just meant to say, if it is a problem, I could do something.
That all does sound really mysterious.
They're the same people who did this thousands of years ago?
[And a thought occurs.]
Do they know how to do that for others?
no subject
As far as we know, we're the first group of people besides the native folks to end up here, so they SHOULD be the same ones who got their souls transferred into robot bodies all those years ago, right? Since it's not like they could reproduce after that.
How to put other people in robot bodies, you mean? Like, one of us? I don't know... I would think so, but they probably wouldn't want to.

[Though, he guesses it's kind of true. Even if his ability to help people survive is questionable when he couldn't.]
I guess that makes sense.
Still, I'd bet it could help certain people.
I'll have to ask them what they remember.
no subject
I guess the scientists would be the ones to ask, if you really want to, but be careful. Things have been kinda tense with them recently.
no subject
[He is absolutely not interested in speaking to scientists-- he's seen movies and how that goes-- but he still has to ask.]
What happened to make things tense?

(Giant worms attacked the city a few months ago, by the way.)
They ended up releasing the information they say got stolen anyway, as a PR move after that. But I don't think relations have gotten too much better since then.
no subject
[This is a lot of very serious and important information he is definitely filing away and probably sharing with Faust at that. It's deeply alarming to hear these scientists would even shut out their own. But one thing catches his focus most of all.]
Can we back up to the giant worms??
no subject
But yes, it's true! Giant worms burst up out of the ground and started eating rocks and metal, and it seemed like they really had a taste for robots! To be honest, I'm not clear on what all that was about! But in the end they got turned to stone, and it's been pretty calm ever since.
no subject
It probably would be old news after living through it.
It just took me by surprise.
I'd say it's better they eat metal than people but I think the robots would beg to differ.
Are the defences around the city to keep the worms out?
no subject
The barrier is keeping out all sorts of things, it seems like, but it's hard to give a comprehensive list of what all those things are. I guess there could be more worms out there? It would make sense. But even just the air is toxic, from what I understand.
no subject
So no one's been out there?
It's just a toxic monster wasteland?
Geez.
It really is just another apocalypse.
no subject
I guess it is, huh? Sorry. You were so excited before.
no subject
A special suit can only help so much.
Don't worry. I'm still excited.
This place still has everything I've missed.
People, electricity, internet.
Even a bed of my own.
Things are good here.
It just means being ready.

Thank you.
It's really nice to get a welcome like this.
