Greetings. My name is Prince Reyson of the Heron Clan.

As you know, we have trouble lately with the breach. To ensure such a thing does not occur so suddenly, I thought about proposing a part-time perimeter guard of the walls. I think we would be better prepared should anything happen again.

Also, as I know some people were hurt or struggling, you are welcome to see me. I have the power of the galdr which means I can soothe one's spirit, trauma and pain. Should you have need of my abilities, do let me know.

[As indicated, Reyson will find the Exarch by the fountain, reading through text on one of the datapads from the library. He isn't fond of these devices, much preferring paper tomes to things of this nature, but he'll make do with what he has.]

[When he notices the other, he glances up to him. Being a short man himself, it's quite a tilt for his head, but not one he isn't used to. Most of the people of his world are taller than he is, though none of them carry the wings he sees now. He smiles and nods politely.]

'Tis good to meet with you in person, Prince Reyson. I trust the travel was pleasant?

[ reyson tilts his head politely, his wings fanning out. ]

Easy enough when one has wings.

[ he settles himself on the fountain's edge, folding his white wings behind him. ]

Tell me your ideas.

[One more nod, to acknowledge the wings, and he can't help but glance over them when they're put on display for him. Races in the worlds he knew bore wings, as did many of the creatures that roamed the lands. But pristine, white, feathered... He can't help but be reminded of the sin eaters, beasts of a certain beauty, were it not for their deadly nature.]

[But the Prince is no sin eater, nor is he even from the First, from where those monstrosities hailed.]

As it well should be. You have quite the advantage, one that I hope will serve you well in your days here.

[But then, to business, something with which he is only too familiar.]

Right then. As I mentioned, I stand behind your suggestion of a supplemented guard stationed around the breach in the city's wall until such time as repairs for it are completed. We have already seen that there are strong fighters among those of us not native to this world, but there remains the task of gathering those willing, working out groupings for them, and keeping communications with the native peoples in an effort to work together on this.

[He pauses there, lowering his head briefly, in thought. It hadn't been any easier to ask this of the Warrior of Light - an evil, but a necessary one if they were to survive.]

This city's continued preservation is in all of our best interests, I am certain. 'Tis only a matter of finding those wiling to stand up for that and put life and limb to risk in order to ensure no further harm should come to it. No easy task in and of itself, but someone must. What should happen were we to let this place be overrun by the horrors beyond these walls, I dare not think of. Therefore, following your proposal, I offer my strength in this, such as it is, and if you would speak with the heads of the guard here on this world, I will reach out to those of we sundered to begin organization on this end. What say you?

It is a solid proposition. I would fight if my body would let me, but I would only prove to be a hindrance. At the most, I could manage communications and refresh the soul should being near the barrier prove to be too taxing.
