Greetings. My name is Prince Reyson of the Heron Clan.

As you know, we have trouble lately with the breach. To ensure such a thing does not occur so suddenly, I thought about proposing a part-time perimeter guard of the walls. I think we would be better prepared should anything happen again.

Also, as I know some people were hurt or struggling, you are welcome to see me. I have the power of the galdr which means I can soothe one's spirit, trauma and pain. Should you have need of my abilities, do let me know.

I think that's a great idea! Consider me volunteering for as many shifts as we need!

Hopefully. It depends on how many volunteers we receive.

I saw a lot of folks fightin' those monsters, so we could get a lot!

So did I but we were rather disorganized.

People might not want to volunteer and have a schedule.

Or they might. Guess we'll find out either way!

[hard to take down someone this optimistic.]

I rather find out sooner than later.

Just a matter of patience, is all. We're not goin' anywhere, anyhow.

[ yeah reyson has never been much for patience. ]

Even so, we can't have another attack sneak up on us.

Did we ever figure out how that happened in the first place, anyhow?

. . . No. I do not think we did.

Well, maybe once we do, we'll all feel a bit more confident and okay with fighting! Answers usually help calm folks down, the way I figure.

That is a fair point. I had not considered it.

Did the locals ever explain what happened?

Not as far as I know... but then, after all that, I was kinda to tired to think to ask.
