Greetings. My name is Prince Reyson of the Heron Clan.

As you know, we have trouble lately with the breach. To ensure such a thing does not occur so suddenly, I thought about proposing a part-time perimeter guard of the walls. I think we would be better prepared should anything happen again.

Also, as I know some people were hurt or struggling, you are welcome to see me. I have the power of the galdr which means I can soothe one's spirit, trauma and pain. Should you have need of my abilities, do let me know.

Elidibus is aloof to all things; I've seen him emotional on few enough times to count upon one hand in the past ten thousand years. He is simply too cold to make for pleasant company.

Lahabrea, on the other hand, runs hot - impatient, impetuous, and oft destructive in his emotions. He wishes to be the centerpiece so much so that he neglects to take adequate care and planning in his endeavors. To attempt to rein him in is an exercise in frustration.

Meanwhile, I have a tendency to be meticulous and cautious, and a need for emotional connection with those I would consider close companions. It is a bad match all around; not a one of us truly likes the others.

All herons possess a similar nature. I am the only one who is truly different.

Well, that seems rather dreadfully boring.

[To be all alike in nature... Amaurot values its cultural homogeneity and agreement, it's true, but there was always room for and value in the difference of personalities. A creative society would simply be unable to thrive without such differences; people all of the same mind create only the same things, over and over.]

To stand out in the crowd of one's own kind is a difficult thing... Again, you have my sympathies.

[That seems more genuine than his initial comment, at least, though it remains difficult to tell if it is entirely serious.]

I would suffer such a thing gladly if my kind existed once more.

[ some things cannot be helped, like his oddity and his hatred for mankind, but he'd take that suffering over being the only one left. ]

Now it is myself and my sister. My father lives, but he is too ill and rarely leaves his bed.
