Hello! This is probably a pretty common question, so please bear with me. I can more or less understand why full-time, regular jobs aren't the norm here, and I guess it's not too surprising that there's no school either, but there's something I kinda don't get at all. The longer I'm stuck here, the more I can't help wondering about it. What exactly is everybody doing all day? You're not all just dedicating your lives to skinship 24/7, right? Is there something else we're supposed to be working on, and I missed hearing about it?

Someone like me can't relax when there are things to weigh on your mind creeping up around every corner.

Are they things you can take care of right away?

Taking care of them isn't even possible if I can't go home. Otherwise I would just do them! With all this needless free time!! Day in and day out, I do every single thing I can think of doing, but there are still hours and hours left over and I don't get tired!

Well gee, if you can't take care of them, I don't see why you should worry about them all that much. After all, there's only so much anyone can do. No wonder you can't take a nap if you think like that.

If you spend so much time thinking on what you can't do, why, you'll wind up doing nothing at all, and feel like nothing.

But I can't just forget about everything. It's one thing if I'm at work, and I have to put my problems aside to be responsible, but when there's nothing important to do... I don't have a switch in my brain for those situations. What should I think about, then? What I can do? That's what I'm having the most trouble with, though.

You don't have to forget. You can just put it aside. Like putting away your sweater in your closet when it's summertime, since you ain't gunna need it until winter.

For now, what about friends?

You must have a super organized mind, to make it sound so simple. I do think about my friends. But since I don't know when I'll see them again, it's not the kind of thought that makes me want to relax.

I don't mean your friends back home, I mean the friends you can make here!

Which ones are those? Where do I find them?
