Hello!

This is probably a pretty common question, so please bear with me. I can more or less understand why full-time, regular jobs aren't the norm here, and I guess it's not too surprising that there's no school either, but there's something I kinda don't get at all. The longer I'm stuck here, the more I can't help wondering about it.

What exactly is everybody doing all day? You're not all just dedicating your lives to skinship 24/7, right? Is there something else we're supposed to be working on, and I missed hearing about it?

The definition is something like "skin-to-skin relationship".

I thought it would be pretty well known in a place like this, but maybe it's actually not?

Saying I have "trouble" with it isn't exactly right, but... it's way more likely that I would run into the problem of it being too much, than not enough. But do you mean that really IS all most of the people here are doing with their time?

:) But I understand what you mean. We can't always hold hands with each other. You seek to find a job to pass your time.

I didn't sign up to be an energy source for any world, let alone the one I'm being held prisoner on.

But that's right. ^_^ No matter where I am, idling away the hours just doesn't feel right!

What occupation do you hold in your own world?

[ No pushback after that bit about noble causes is a little surprising, but she won't pursue it, at least for now. ]

I was in the entertainment industry! My main focus was acting. But I'm not sure how to break into it here... I think I'd have to pitch myself as a novelty, right?Either way, I haven't found any information about auditions or talent agencies yet.

Now that you mention it, I haven't looked into any theaters or performances either. Maybe this means you might be able to start one yourself?

... Something on the level of solo street performances would probably be the height of my abilities. I can't imagine running a whole production--no, a whole business--myself.
