Hey everyone! I realized the other day that this is the first time I've ever lived on my own. It was kind of fun at first, but now that the novelty has worn off, it's actually pretty boring. So I was wondering if anyone wanted to be roommates?

I'm sure a lot of you are thinking "but I've already settled in to the place I found", but I have a list of qualifications that might change your mind.

[He holds up a fingers for each point he makes.]

Firstly, I will never eat your food. Because I literally can't. Second, I won't hog the bathroom. I'm not even sure what it's used for, but I've heard you organics value your time in there.

If just that isn't enough to change your mind, I can also reach high places because I'm very tall. Fourth, I can turn into a car. If you ever need something, I can go get it way faster than you could by just walking. And fifth, I love movies, so we could have lots of movie nights! If... they have movies here. I haven't actually checked come to think of it...

[He pauses for a moment.]

I probably should have started with this but my name's Tailgate, by the way. I don't mind moving in somewhere, but if you want to move in where I'm living now, we, uh, might need new furniture.

[It's not his fault that the sofa and chairs in the living area were not made for the weight of a Cybertronian.]

((OOC: Obviously not everyone can have Tailgate for a roommate as much as they want to, so let me know if you do really want to move in with this disaster. Pretty sure Natasha is going to be one roommate, so that leaves three open slots.))

[So he does have senses . . . interesting. That probably answers Magolor's biggest question, of why robots would bring in other, different robots to do their work that they're specifically outsourcing because robots can't do it. The universe sure is an interesting place!

He nods energetically and waves at the greeting.]

Nice to meet you~! You're the first robot I've ever met who can feel things, and I've known a lot of them. In fact, you'd have fit right in on Halcandra. It's no wonder you were of interest to the people of this planet if you can feel things in ways they can't.

That's why most Cybertronians aren't really fans of the word 'robot'. You say robot, and that's what people think, you know? Unfeeling and just made to do whatever you tell them.

[He shrugs.]

You think I would have fit in there? It's kind of hard to tell over the video but you look kind of... tiny?

Oh noooo, forgive me! Cybertronian, then. I won't forget it! Anyway, my species isn't the only one on Halcandra, and I'm more organic than a lot of Halcandran life is. It's a very industrial planet. Inorganic life everywhere! So this place reminds me a little of home.

[trashbot]

Oh, don't worry about it! You didn't know. [He waves his hands in front of the screen.] Plus, everyone here has been really nice. I'm starting to think it was just a problem the place I'm from had.

Huh. I don't think I've ever seen a planet that had organic and inorganic life together. Industrial, yes, but not the two kinds of life together... That sounds really interesting.

It's something of a hub for species from all over the universe, so that's probably why we're such an eclectic crew. So your planet's more like this one, then. No organic life at all? Sorry for interrogating you, but I just love to hear about different places around the universe! Especially at a time like this, where I can't just go see it myself!

Ohh, that makes more sense, if you had folks from all over the universe living there. I don't think we had any place like that where I'm from. There were some places where organics and mechanical life could both visit, but never living together.

Yeah, my home didn't have any organic life at all. Not even to start. It is really interesting to hear the differences though!

It's pretty rare I hear something completely alien to even me. I can feel myself holding back all the things the humans here hold back whenever they're talking to me too . . . so this is what it's like.
