[ the feed starts to show a large, dainty looking man with large white wings peering at the feed before pulling back, satisfied. ]
Greetings. My name is Prince Reyson of the Heron Clan.
As you know, we have trouble lately with the breach. To ensure such a thing does not occur so suddenly, I thought about proposing a part-time perimeter guard of the walls. I think we would be better prepared should anything happen again.
Also, as I know some people were hurt or struggling, you are welcome to see me. I have the power of the galdr which means I can soothe one's spirit, trauma and pain. Should you have need of my abilities, do let me know.

So, uh. Noble endeavour and all that. Weird question, though- what do you mean by soothing, uh, spirit? Any chance you can do anything for the soul?

Yes. My magic reaches within the soul.

[How often do you meet a soul medic?? Wild.]
What do you do, exactly?

If we sense an imbalance, our powers can help to correct it.
no subject
[Because this sounds pretty legit but she also does not want to get vaporized.]
no subject
Only ones that may be unbalanced due to chaos or other powers.

[Most people just go with "undead abomination".]
You ever had it go, uhh, bad?
no subject
I did deal with a dragon. One of the laguz who had been tortured and his mind robbed of his senses. He was near death but Leanne and I — we bought him back from the brink to say goodbye to his wife. To bring back his sanity.
From what I know of souls, they do not go bad. They are not tarnished. They are imbalances.

Ah... worth a shot then, maybe. Could probably use something like that.
no subject
Certainly. We should meet in person so I can help.

[Give her a minute and she'll track down a little public area around the corner from her house, just a spot with a table and some benches for people to hang out. It's not that she doesn't trust you with her home address, Reyson, but- okay, she doesn't trust you. That takes time with her.
Once she's satisfied with the location she sends him the address and a time she can be there- gives her a bit to ready herself for public consumption. She may be sick but she's not an animal.]

What happened?
no subject
Went for a little adventure outside the wall while it was busted. I'm giving this world a solid F for Fucked.

You were fortunate. The negative energy out there is too strong for an ordinary person.
no subject
no subject
Yes, I'm sure a nap would expunge negative energy.
Let me get a good look at you.

[It's worked before...! But fine, whatever. She sits back in her chair and lets him do as he pleases, though she can't help the undercurrent of nervousness in her expression and body language. This form is supposed to... mostly hide the undead stuff, but it's only skin-deep, so she doesn't know what this soul-searching of his can do. Every limb is tense, and she's ready to bolt at a moment's notice, sickness be damned.]
no subject
It doesn't seem to be too bad. A galdr should expunge the energies you absorbed.
no subject
A what, now?
no subject
no subject
Oh, damn. Like a bard? That's cool.
[Heck yeah, Healing Word her soul, or whatever.]
no subject
Similar to that.
[ with a quiet exhale, reyson begins the galdr. the effects are not immediate, but you can feel it sapping away the negative energy. your vision brightens, the energy returns to your limbs. and it's not only you. the very air vibrates, sharper and sweeter. like for one glorious moment, you are just breathing. ]
no subject
Well, shit. He might've been right about this, after all.]
