Greetings. My name is Prince Reyson of the Heron Clan.

As you know, we have trouble lately with the breach. To ensure such a thing does not occur so suddenly, I thought about proposing a part-time perimeter guard of the walls. I think we would be better prepared should anything happen again.

Also, as I know some people were hurt or struggling, you are welcome to see me. I have the power of the galdr which means I can soothe one's spirit, trauma and pain. Should you have need of my abilities, do let me know.

Not after I'm done checking your wounds.

Fine, fine...

[He'll at least get up so there's no guessing. Here he is for your perusal, Reyson. There's the rough job on his face, but it's done carefully enough to indicate that someone's Done This Before, there's just... not a lot of actual bandages conveniently around.

What wasn't obvious in the video though was that there were some more peeking out from under his sleeves. Where else were they hiding!]

[ reyson is methodical, as he pulls back the sleeves. ]

[Kai just cocked his head, letting him do what he wanted.]

More of the same?

[Emphasis on the more, since his limbs took the brunt of the damage. The bruises that exist are more prevalent, and its pretty easy to guess that he might have used his arms to shield the rest of him from some chompers from the locations of make-shift bandages. Not the worst damage by any means, but still there.]

If it was the same, why wasn't it treated!

What is your excuse for this shoddy treatment?!

What. I washed 'em! I just didn't have enough makeshift bandages.

[He'd prioritized the things that would have gotten more messed up, at least! Kai puffed up a little, as much as anyone without floof could.]

S'not like there's much I can do about bruises either.

You could have asked someone. The natives are bound to have them.

After a battle, taking care and asking for help is always a priority. Otherwise, you will be no help if another comes along.

Even if the natives do have stuff tucked away somewhere, I'm not gonna waste 'em on little stuff like this. People are bound to need 'em more than me.

I have not heard of any shortage, so I doubt it would be a waste.

It's bound to be limited at the moment though. When was the last time any of them needed any of it? They get repairs, not medical attention.

You're guessing. You don't actually know if that is the case.

Anyway, they're fine. They just need a few days.

And will you actually rest during that time?
