Hello,

I hope everyone has been taking care, and continues to do so in the coming weeks.

I have a question some of you may be able to answer: What is it that people tend to or are meant to do when they are together?

Together in the non-platonic sense of the word, that is.

I am trying to understand how it differs from platonic togetherness, as there seems to be a distinct difference. I know little to nothing of such matters, and thus am seeking base knowledge from which to build upon.

If it matters, the context from which I am asking is that of a woman who is together with a man. Or at least one who is currently male in form and identifying as such. So for sake of simplicity we will refer to this as a hetero-normative

togetherness.

Happy to help! I don't know much of it personally, but my best pals have their sweethearts, so I learned a lot of it from them.

I don't believe any of my family have sweethearts as of yet, save perhaps one, if she has allowed it of herself.

She met him in a world not her own. She cannot stay, nor can she take him with her.

Much like myself, she puts duty above most everything else.

I cannot say for certain, but I believe they just may have. And then, inevitably, they will be forced apart and divided by an impassable barrier.

Can't say I believe in words like 'inevitable' and all that.

If she stays in that world she will die. If there was somehow a way for him to come to our world, he would then die. This is a guarantee.

Love is not all happy endings. More oft than not it is tragedy, and just a matter of deciding if the risk is worth it all.
