[Hello Havenwell! You are, by now, surely no stranger to what a video entry to the network containing one vaguely worried, vaguely upset subject might entail. Here we see Tamaki, seated in the living room at his Havenwell-designated housing, hands occupied by one spoon and one glass containing the tail end of what looks to be a sweet dessert of some kind, and looking just... terribly anxious.]

My roommate, and, uh, my friend, Nagicchi, he hasn't been back in a while. I know he's not the only person who's gone missing lately, and I know he wouldn't just abandon me, so... he might not be coming back, I guess? I don't know if I should still be keeping an eye out for him.

[He frowns, frustrated and feeling a little defeated at the admission. That spoon is moved around to fish out some of the contents of the glass, but he doesn't quite move to take a bite just yet.]

It's really lonely here without him, though. [Okay now he takes that bite, pensively finishing it off before speaking up again.] If anyone else is looking for a roommate right now, I think I could use the company.

[ Seeing people you know come and go is rough, especially when you haven't done it before. The video broadcast just solidifies that there are people who haven't had to do it before, and Carl takes pity on the poor guy. When he turns the feed on, he offers Tamaki a sympathetic smile. ]

I'm sorry you lost him. He might be back later, and he might not.. It's hard to tell in a place like this, but don't lose hope? At the very least, he's probably just gone back home for a while.

[Oh, hey there! A brief smile flickers across Tamaki's face both in response to a faintly familiar face, as well as the smile offered to him. His particular brand of showmanship doesn't lean so heavily on keeping a positive expression plastered on if it isn't genuine, though, so it's only a fleeting thing.]

I mean.... [He frowns and gives a small, frustrated sounding sigh as he runs a hand through his hair.] If he's home, then that's a good thing. It just sucks being here without anyone I know from home, and I'd rather be back there with everyone else too, instead.

[ Why hello! He understands being unable to project false emotions, and he's really not judging. It's hard missing someone who you didn't expect to lose. ]

Yeah, I get that. It sucks, but you're here, and he probably wouldn't want you to dwell on it too much? Take it one day at a time and treat it like your life at home is kind of on pause?

[Honestly, that's probably the only way he's going to really be okay with this whole situation - treating it like being here is putting everything else on pause. Even if that means... no one would really know he's missing. Is that more or less worse than them being worried? He just! Doesn't know!]

I guess so... I know he wouldn't want me to be upset. It's really hard to just not be upset, though.

[ It takes a while to get used to it, he really understands. Being away from home- especially from family- is a difficult transition... It sucks, but there's not much to do about it. ]

The thing is, you're allowed to be upset about it. You didn't exactly get asked to come here in the first place. I haven't heard of a place that gave you the option.

Yeah... [He's just kind of tired of being upset by now. It'd be nice to not be, but, again, it's just tough to let go of.

On the other hand, a distraction is good for at least a few moments of putting those thoughts out of mind, and Carl's said something interesting enough for it,] You get swept off to a lot of places like this or something?

Not a lot of places, but I was in a place called Drift Fleet before this for three years. Did a lot of planetary traveling.

But there were plenty of other people there that had been to other places before, too.

[ Kyoko is peering down into the camera, a soft frown on her face. She hasn't really known how to feel about any of the other posts like this she's seen so far, but it hasn't really mattered until now since the others were all from and about people she didn't know. But Tamaki is a bit of a different case, maybe? ]

Um, Tamaki, hello! [ There's a tiny, awkward wave, characteristic of someone who's never actually facetimed before. ] You don't have to go into it, if you don't want, but--how long was he here? Your friend.

Ah, hey. [Have a wave back, a far more natural motion with the kind of ease of someone who's far more comfortable with the idea of being broadcast like this.]

Mmm, no, it's fine. [It stings thinking about him not being here, but he doesn't particularly mind getting in to the specifics.] He and I showed up at the same time. So, that'd be... [Give him a second, here,] About three months?

[ Three months... is a long time to be here, when Kyoko already feels like her month here is an alarming amount of time. But it's not the longest she's heard, and it's sort of reassuring to think that being stuck here for this long doesn't mean she'll stay stuck forever.

But thinking about her own plight when Tamaki is so upset is kinda bad of her, isn't it? Kyoko's frown deepens as she hastens to find something kind to say. ]

In that case, maybe you'll get to leave soon too? You came from the same place, right? Maybe--it'll be like he cleared the path home for you.

That'd be nice. [He can be hopeful about that much, at least. He sighs, offering a small grumble before continuing.] I don't want to just... bail on the people here who need help, but, it's not fair that they brought us here in the first place. The least they could'a done was not send the only person I knew from before back home without me, you know?

It's not fair. [ There was a time when she might have fallen into a rant about that, but this time she simply clenches her jaw keeps her focus. ] And having a friend here with you, just to have them taken away... you can get mad about it, you know?

I've been mad about it. [Considering he disappeared a while back now, and all. What we have here now is a Tamaki who's burned through most of that in private.] I'm still pretty mad but I'm also... just kinda tired, I guess?

Yeah, it seems like a few people up and left around the same time, huh? ['Left' is... maybe not the right word here, exactly.] That... really sucks, though. I don't know what I'd do if my sister had been here and left instead of my groupmate.

[Be devastated, probably? Maybe not the best thing for him to be speculating about right now.]

'M sorry it happened to you, though.

Oh, like, one of the other people in my group. There's seven of us, we sing and dance together.

Interesting. I do not know of many bards and dancers that travel in a troupe.

[ though. to be fair. tellius is having a war and it's not easy to go around promoting the arts. ]

Idol groups are pretty popular, back home. There are still people who have solo careers and stuff, but putting people who sound good together is appealing, too.

[Hmm...? He leans in to his own communicator to examine the message as it pops up, offering up a thoughtful hum as he takes in that address.]

Yeah? [He's still awfully blue about this whole situation, but the offer does bring a faint smile to his face for a moment.] I'll probably take you up on that.

Is this where you're staying?

[No one would be able to tell, but Vianca was pleased to be able to nod yes.]

Yes. I do not think I would be a good roommate, but you can visit as much as you'd like.

[Not that he'd push the issue in this instance, he's just curious.]
